The concept behind Batman Day was very neat. My only regret was not having enough money to buy Batman-related things from my local comic book shop.
This was a sketch I drew months ago. I was experimenting with inks and I wasn't satisfied with the results, so I threw it on the pile of regret. Once news Batman Day surfaced, I brought this piece back to life. Sometimes, a little bit of time can change your perspective on art. I had to take into consideration that I was an emotional wreck when I penciled and inked it. Really, it could have been a masterpiece, I still would have thrown it in the pile. Now that I'm in a good place, mentally, my judgement is more positive.
