Family Ties

Two words: Kinkos Sucks. I used their crappy technology to scan in a few pictures. Only problem was that my card only had $4.42 on it. Figured it was enough time, right? Wrong! It took me three minutes just to figure out how to work the bastard scanner that they had. So, I didn’t get a chance to scan all of my drawings. Only two.

This is based on the current events in the Batgirl comic. It was hard trying to find the right reference for Batgirl, since they say that she’s mixed. After an extensive search, I was out of ideas until I rented Sin City and saw Devon Aoki as “Deadly Little Miho.” She was a beast in that movie, which makes her the perfect candidate for Batgirl reference.

Kiefer Sutherland…well, if you seen my “No Man’s Land” piece, then you’d know why I choose him as reference. He’s crazy, has a killer voice, and is no stranger to espionage and all the like.

I didn’t use any reference for Lady Shiva.

It’s not quite finished, but it’s been so long since I posted anything new, I just couldn’t resist. Hell, I could just finish it in photoshop. I have a cool color scheme and effects I’d like to work on.
